Napoli will soon find itself in search of a new head coach, as Antonio Conte reportedly plans to depart at the end of the current season.
Renowned journalist Nicolò Schira has shared on his social media platform X that the 56-year-old coach has made the decision to leave Napoli. This development comes amid an increasingly strained relationship between Conte and the club’s management, paired with the team’s lackluster performance this season.
Conte took the reins at Napoli in 2024, managing the team through 90 matches. Under his leadership, the Neapolitans achieved 53 victories, 19 draws, and 18 losses, securing both the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia.
Conte’s current contract with Napoli is set to expire in the summer of 2027.
