Chelsea Football Club is reportedly eyeing a move for Atalanta’s goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi as they look to strengthen their squad this summer.
According to prominent journalist Ekrem Konur on his X social media page, the Premier League side is seriously considering the 25-year-old Italian shot-stopper. Carnesecchi’s impressive performances this season have garnered attention from several top European clubs, including Juventus.
Despite the interest from Serie A teams, Chelsea is currently positioned as the frontrunner for Carnesecchi’s signature. This season, he has featured in 50 matches for Atalanta, conceding 56 goals while maintaining 17 clean sheets.
Carnesecchi’s contract with Atalanta runs until 2028, and his market value is estimated at €25 million, according to Transfermarkt.
