The Burkina Faso Football Federation has announced that Nasser Djiga and Herve Koffi will miss the upcoming FIFA international break in June due to injuries. The two players were initially selected to compete in international friendlies against Russia and Belarus scheduled for June 5 and June 9.
Following the withdrawals, coach Amir Abdou has appointed replacements for the injured players. Rachid Gnanou will step in for Nasser Djiga, while Sofiane Ouedraogo will take the place of Herve Koffi Kouakou.
Both Gnanou and Ouedraogo are set to join the national squad in Ouagadougou as they prepare for the upcoming matches.
