The U17 Africa Cup of Nations is entering its crucial quarter-final stage, with matches scheduled for 24 May in Morocco. Eight teams have successfully progressed to this round after competing in the group stages.
The teams vying for a place in the semi-finals include host nation Morocco, along with Senegal, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Tanzania, Egypt, Mali, and Algeria. Notably, Algeria advanced after a draw against Ghana, as both teams were tied on all criteria.
In addition to the quarter-final matches, all eight teams that have reached this stage have secured spots in the upcoming U17 World Cup, marking a significant achievement for these young athletes.
