The Norwegian national football team, known as the Vikings, is preparing for the upcoming World Cup with a strong squad selection. Today, the official account for Norway’s national team on the social media platform X released the final roster of 26 players who will represent the nation at the tournament.
Under the guidance of head coach Ståle Solbakken, the roster includes a mix of goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards. The goalkeeping lineup features Ørjan Håskjold Nyland, Egil Selvik, and Sander Tangvik.
In the defensive lineup, notable players include Kristoffer Vassbakk Ajer, Fredrik Bjørkan, and Leo Østigård, among others. The midfield and forward positions showcase talents such as Martin Ødegaard, Erling Braut Haaland, and Jørgen Strand Larsen.
Norway has been placed in Group I for the World Cup, where they will compete against Senegal, Iraq, and France.
