Senegalese right-back Ilay Camara has provided an update following a concerning incident during a recent match. Just weeks before the 2026 World Cup, co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, Camara had to leave the field during a Belgian league game while playing for Anderlecht against Sint-Truiden.
The situation had caused apprehension among fans, but Camara sought to calm those fears with a message on social media. The defender, who has been selected for the World Cup squad, reassured his supporters by stating, “Everything is fine. Focus on preparations with the national team.”
