Newcastle United’s winger Anthony Gordon has attracted interest from several prestigious clubs, with Liverpool reportedly preparing to make an official bid.
Details: As per a report from TeamTalk, Liverpool’s coaching staff have earmarked the 25-year-old Gordon as the primary candidate to succeed Mohamed Salah, who has confirmed his exit from the club.
In addition to Liverpool, Bayern Munich is also vying for Gordon’s signature and will need to intensify their efforts to secure the sought-after forward.
The Magpies are willing to let go of one of their key players but are requesting no less than £75 million for his transfer. So far this season, Gordon has made 46 appearances for Newcastle, netting 17 goals and providing 5 assists. His current contract with the club runs until 2030, with Transfermarkt valuing him at €60 million.
