West Ham United, following their relegation from the Premier League, faces significant financial challenges and is compelled to sell players to replenish their budget.
Everton, on the other hand, aims to strengthen its defensive lineup and has set its sights on 28-year-old DR Congo international and West Ham defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka. According to a report by The Athletic, the Toffees have already initiated contact with the player’s representatives and are prepared to act swiftly to finalize a deal.
In light of their relegation to the Championship, West Ham must raise over £150 million by offloading players. This season, Wan-Bissaka has played 27 matches for the Hammers, contributing three assists. His current contract with West Ham is set to last until 2031, and his transfer value is estimated at €22 million by Transfermarkt.
