The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has implemented stringent security and confidentiality measures to protect its star player, Neymar. This decision comes in response to the forward undergoing an emergency medical examination.
According to reports from ESPN Brasil, the CBF secured a formal confidentiality agreement with the medical clinic involved in Neymar’s examination. In an effort to ensure the player’s comfort and privacy, the CBF negotiated with the clinic’s management to close its doors significantly earlier than usual, at 16:00, to allow Neymar to remain undisturbed throughout the afternoon.
Typically, the clinic operates until 19:00, but on this occasion, it completely ceased operations and halted all patient visits. Additionally, to prevent any potential leaks of information, all medical and support staff at the clinic were required to sign a strict non-disclosure agreement, ensuring that details regarding Neymar’s diagnosis and test results are kept confidential.
The South Africa national team has announced its squad for the 2026 World Cup.
