The Ivorian women’s national football team commenced their first training session on Monday, June 1, in Abidjan. This preparation is geared towards the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, set to take place this summer in Morocco.

As part of this initiative, a new training camp has been launched during the June international break. The camp officially began on Monday, with 25 of the 27 players selected by coach Reynald Pedros in attendance. Ange Koko and Rosemonde Kouassi are currently absent but are expected to join the team shortly.

The training camp will culminate in a two-legged tie against Cape Verde, slated to be held at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium. The first leg is scheduled for June 5 at 7 PM GMT, while the second leg will take place on June 8 at the same time.
