Turkey has officially announced its squad for the upcoming World Cup.
In a recent update on social media platform X, the Turkish national football team revealed the final list of 26 players selected by head coach Vincenzo Montella who will make the trip to the tournament.
Goalkeepers: Details on the squad include a strong lineup of defenders, midfielders, and forwards. The defenders chosen are Bardakcı, Demiral, Söyüncü, Elmalı, Kadıoğlu, Müldür, Kabak, Akaydın, and Çelik.
Midfielders include Çalhanoğlu, Yüksek, Ayhan, Kökçü, and Özcan, while the forwards are Güler, Yılmaz, Uzun, Gül, Kahveci, Yıldız, Aktürkoğlu, Aydın, and Akgün.
Turkey has been placed in Group D for the World Cup, where they will compete against teams from the USA, Paraguay, and Australia.
