Nigeria’s national football team has received an important reinforcement ahead of their international friendly match against Poland, with defender Calvin Bassey joining the squad in Warsaw.
Bassey, who plays for Fulham, has arrived at the Super Eagles’ training base, the Presidential Hotel in Warsaw. His inclusion boosts the squad to 20 players as preparations for the match intensify.
The friendly encounter is set to take place at the PGE Narodowy Stadium, which has a capacity of 58,000 spectators, on Wednesday.

Kick-off for the match is scheduled for 8:45 p.m. local time in Poland, corresponding to 7:45 p.m. in Nigeria.
