The English Football Association (FA) is evaluating the participation of England players in the traditional pre-match handshake with Thomas Partey during their scheduled match against Ghana at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

According to a report by The Times, the FA is considering whether to issue specific guidelines to players on the customary pre-match greeting in the lead-up to the Group L fixture, set to take place in Boston on June 23.

This encounter will serve as the second group-stage match for both teams in the tournament, which is co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
