André Onana is set to make a return to Manchester United following his loan spell with Trabzonspor. The 30-year-old Cameroonian goalkeeper’s move back to Old Trafford has been confirmed by noted journalist Fabrizio Romano on his X social media platform.
Trabzonspor is actively working to secure Onana’s contract, aiming to keep the player as his loan agreement nears its conclusion. Reports indicate that Manchester United’s head coach Michael Carrick is keen for Onana to participate in preseason training with the team.
Onana, who joined Trabzonspor in September 2025, has made 33 appearances for the Turkish club, allowing 40 goals while achieving six clean sheets. His current market value is estimated at €10 million according to Transfermarkt.
