Sébastien Desabre’s squad is honing its strategy in anticipation of their opening match against Portugal. The Leopards of the Democratic Republic of Congo arrived in the United States on June 12 for the World Cup and have quickly settled into their preparations.
After landing on American soil, the Congolese team held their first training session in Houston, which will serve as their base camp. They will continue to practice diligently leading up to their first group stage match against Portugal, scheduled for June 17. This significant event marks the commencement of the World Cup co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
The Leopards will face Colombia in their second match of Group K on June 24, and they are scheduled to play Uzbekistan in their final group stage match on June 28.
