The Lions of Teranga have commenced their training in New Jersey as they prepare for the upcoming tournament. Led by Sadio Mane, the Senegalese team is currently fine-tuning its strategies following two recent international friendlies, which concluded with a defeat to Team USA and a draw against Saudi Arabia.

Having arrived in New Jersey on June 11, head coach Pape Thiaw and his squad are training diligently at their base camp, Rutgers University. The tournament will take place from June 11 to July 19, hosted jointly by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The first training session took place amid challenging weather conditions, with temperatures exceeding 36°C.

All players except Cherif Ndiaye, who is currently training individually, are participating as the team prepares for its first match against France on June 16. In Group I, Senegal will also compete against Norway and Iraq during the group stage.
