Fulham Football Club is reportedly in the advanced stages of negotiations to appoint Álvaro Arbeloa as the new head coach. The Spanish coach, known for his tenure at Real Madrid, has emerged as the leading candidate for the role.
According to football journalist Ben Jacobs, the London club has nearly finalised terms with Arbeloa. This follows a comprehensive search conducted by the Cottagers’ management for a suitable replacement to lead the team.
During this selection process, the club engaged with several high-profile coaches, including Ange Postecoglou, Thomas Frank, Kieran McKenna, and Frank Lampard. Rúben Amorim was also considered a potential candidate, but he has since ruled himself out as he pursues opportunities, with reports indicating he is a frontrunner for the head coaching position at AC Milan.
