Chelsea Football Club is actively monitoring the situation regarding Diogo Costa, the goalkeeper for Porto and the Portugal national team. The club considers the 26-year-old Costa as a potential long-term solution for their goalkeeping needs.
According to reports from Record Portugal, Costa, who has emerged as one of Europe’s leading goalkeepers ahead of the World Cup, is valued by Porto at €60 million. The club anticipates that his price may increase as a result of his performances on the international stage.
In addition to Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain is also showing interest in Costa, which could further elevate the competition for his signature. During the 2025/26 season, Costa played in 49 matches for Porto, only conceding 27 goals and achieving 26 clean sheets. Currently, Transfermarkt places his market value at €40 million.
