Ayoub Bouaddi, an impressive performer at the World Cup, may soon be on the move this summer. The 18-year-old midfielder from Lille and the Morocco national team has attracted significant interest from top clubs in Europe.
According to CaughtOffside, Arsenal is currently leading the race to acquire Bouaddi, outpacing competitors Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain. The Gunners’ scouting team has reportedly been monitoring the young talent for an extended period, and his World Cup debut against Brazil has intensified their interest.
Arsenal is prepared to invest approximately £80 million to secure Bouaddi’s signature. In the recently concluded 2025/26 season, he made 42 appearances across all competitions, contributing one assist to his team. His current contract with Lille extends until the summer of 2029, and his market value is estimated at €50 million.
