Genoa has officially announced the signing of Roma midfielder Tommaso Baldanzi. The 23-year-old will join the Griffins on loan, with a mandatory purchase clause set to take effect in February 2027.
The total reported transfer fee stands at €10 million. Baldanzi has signed a contract with Genoa, which will keep him at the club until 2030. He had already spent part of the previous season with the team, having joined on loan in January.
During his previous stint, Baldanzi made 8 appearances for Genoa, contributing two assists. The club aims to build for the future with Baldanzi following a challenging Serie A season, in which they finished in 16th place. Additionally, Ukrainian midfielder Ruslan Malinovskyi has officially departed from the club.
