FIFA has announced the officiating team for the upcoming match between Portugal and Uzbekistan, appointing three referees from Morocco and two from South Africa.
This match is set to take place on 23 June at 5 PM GMT, as part of the second matchday in Group K of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, at the NRG Stadium in Houston.
The officiating team includes Moroccan referee Jalal Jayed, who will be supported by his fellow countrymen Zakadia Brinsi and Mostafa Akarkad. South Africans Abongile Tom and Zakehele Siwela have been designated as the fourth and fifth officials for the match.
