Frank Lampard is poised to return to the Premier League this summer, with potential implications for his current position at Coventry City, where he recently achieved Championship success. According to The Sun, Crystal Palace has reached out to the manager in the wake of Oliver Glasner’s departure, extending an offer to take over the club.

The 47-year-old Lampard led Coventry to the Premier League for the first time in 25 years, marking a significant achievement for the club. Nevertheless, sources indicate that he may have reservations about the Sky Blues’ board’s ability to provide necessary resources for competing in the top flight.

In addition to Crystal Palace’s interest, Fulham is also considering Lampard as a candidate should Marco Silva leave his position. However, it is Crystal Palace that has taken the first definitive step to secure the former Chelsea and Everton manager.
