The situation has become critical, with Argentina’s coaching staff reportedly urging Como’s management not to include Paz in their final Serie A match against Cremonese in an effort to prevent potential injury.
A member of Argentina’s medical team has even traveled to Italy to evaluate Paz’s condition and engage in discussions with Como’s medical staff about his fitness.
Previous reports have indicated that Paz might be sidelined for the World Cup due to a knee injury. This season, the 20-year-old has made 40 appearances for Como, netting 13 goals and providing 8 assists.
