Bayer Leverkusen has announced the signing of a new long-term contract for young midfielder Francis Onyeka, which will keep him at the club until June 2032. The 19-year-old Nigerian attacking midfielder has shown great potential, particularly during his recent loan spell at VfL Bochum.
During his time with Bochum, Onyeka had a standout season, scoring eight goals and providing one assist across 30 league appearances. His performances have contributed significantly to his development and garnered attention from the club.
Leverkusen made the announcement through their official X account, revealing that Onyeka will spend the upcoming season on loan at newly promoted Elversberg.
