Bayern Munich is reportedly preparing to extend the contract of their esteemed goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer. The 40-year-old player is valued highly by the club, which has expressed a desire to keep him for another season.

Details: According to credible journalist Fabrizio Romano on his X social media page, discussions are underway for a new contract that would secure Neuer’s future at Bayern until at least the summer of 2027. The proposed deal would also include improved financial terms for Neuer.

The contract is currently on Neuer’s table, and the final decision lies with him. Neuer has been a pivotal figure for Bayern Munich for over 15 years, having joined the club from Schalke in 2011 for €30 million.

This season, Neuer has made 34 appearances for Bayern, conceding 33 goals and providing 11 assists. His current contract is set to expire at the end of the season.
