Real Madrid has been denied the opportunity to sign Bayern Munich‘s prominent player, Michael Olise, as the club’s president, Herbert Hainer, addressed recent rumors regarding a potential transfer.
In an interview, Hainer clarified that Real Madrid had not conducted any clandestine negotiations with Olise. He emphasized that both clubs maintain a strong relationship, which prompted Real Madrid to reach out for clarification on the matter.
“As I have said before, if Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez had this in mind, he can save himself the trouble, because we have no intention of selling Michael. Bayern has a very good relationship with Real, and accordingly, they reached out to me to clarify, first, that they have had absolutely no contact with Michael Olise, and second, that they do not want these kinds of media speculations to keep surfacing,” Hainer stated.

Despite speculation circulating on social media about Real Madrid’s willingness to offer over €200 million for Olise, Hainer’s comments suggest that these claims are unfounded and rooted in media fiction.
