Benfica is poised to make a swift managerial change following the anticipated departure of José Mourinho to Real Madrid.
Details: As reported by Pedro Almeida on his X social media page, Benfica’s management has identified a candidate to take over for Mourinho, who is expected to leave for Madrid in the near future.
Negotiations are currently ongoing with Rúben Amorim, a 41-year-old former head coach of Manchester United and Sporting. Amorim has reportedly been chosen personally by Benfica’s president, Rui Costa.
