The Amazones, representing Benin, have been drawn into Group A for the upcoming U20 Women’s World Cup. This tournament marks a historic moment as it is the first time Benin’s U20 women’s team will participate in the World Cup.
Hosted by Poland, the tournament features Benin alongside the host nation, Poland, as well as Mexico and Argentina in their group. The matches are set to begin in September 2026.
Benin will kick off their group stage matches against Mexico on 5 September 2026. They are scheduled to face Argentina on 8 September, concluding their group stage against Poland on 11 September.
