The Turkish giants could be eyeing a significant transfer.
The Portuguese defender might be heading to Turkey.
Details: According to well-known journalist Ekrem Konur on his social media page on X, Beşiktaş, a Turkish club, is in the lead to acquire 32-year-old Portuguese left-back Rafael Guerreiro from Bayern Munich.
Reports indicate that Beşiktaş head coach Sergen Yalçın is looking for experienced, high-quality players, with Guerreiro being his top choice to bolster the team during the summer transfer window.
As Guerreiro’s contract with Bayern expires this June, Beşiktaş could potentially sign him on a free transfer.
This season, Guerreiro has played 24 matches for Bayern, scoring 4 goals and providing 3 assists. His market value is estimated at 6 million euros, according to Transfermarkt.
Reminder: It remains uncertain whether Real Madrid defender Ferland Mendy will be available to play against Bayern.
