Borussia Dortmund has secured the signing of talented defender Joane Gadou from RB Salzburg. The announcement was made on Tuesday, confirming the transfer’s completion.
The 19-year-old centre-back will be with the Bundesliga club on a long-term contract that extends until 2031. This deal marks a significant addition to Dortmund’s defensive lineup.
Gadou joins Dortmund following a successful tenure at Salzburg, where he made 58 appearances since his arrival from Paris in 2024. Notably, he participated in all three of the club’s group-stage matches during last summer’s FIFA Club World Cup.
