Details: As reported by L’Equipe, 34-year-old attacking midfielder James Rodríguez, who plays for Minnesota, was hospitalized urgently a day after a friendly match against France.

Sources indicate that Rodríguez suddenly felt unwell, leading to an emergency ambulance call. After a thorough examination at the hospital, doctors found that his discomfort was due to severe dehydration.

“Fortunately, the current medical report indicates a positive outlook and steady recovery.

This situation is not linked to any musculoskeletal injuries or changes in his football activity,” stated the Colombian Football Federation.

Rodríguez’s health is currently stable, but he will need further tests. If any underlying health issues are found, he may have to withdraw from the World Cup before it even starts.
