Chelsea FC has reportedly joined the competition to sign highly regarded AIK winger Zadok Yohanna, intensifying the ongoing transfer battle for the 18-year-old talent. The addition of Chelsea to the list of clubs pursuing Yohanna adds another layer of intrigue to his potential move this summer.
As reported by Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Chelsea is now among the clubs monitoring the young player, alongside Newcastle United and Brighton & Hove Albion. Currently, Newcastle is perceived to be in the lead, having made the most advanced proposal, while Brighton remains actively engaged in negotiations and retains hope for a verbal agreement with Yohanna.
Yohanna has quickly established himself as one of AIK’s standout prospects since joining the club from Nigeria’s Ikon Allah Football Academy last year. During his breakout campaign, he has scored five goals and provided four assists in just 12 appearances, showcasing his significant potential in the competitive landscape of European football.
