The Senegal Football Federation is currently embroiled in a significant internal crisis as it gears up for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. This predicament follows a series of allegations made by a faction of 16 members within the organization.

According to reports from Sport News Africa, these members have accused Federation President Abdoulaye Fall of distributing bonus payments in a manner that lacked the necessary collective approval. Concerns have been raised regarding the transparency of the financial reporting related to these bonuses.

Opposition members within the Federation have indicated that irregularities are evident, with claims that individuals without any official ties to the national squad’s delegation received considerable amounts from the prize fund. This has raised serious questions about the management of financial resources.
