Details: Esteemed journalist Florian Plettenberg reported on his social media page X that Dante will rejoin Bayern at the conclusion of the current season. He is anticipated to retire from professional football and assume the role of head coach for the U23 youth team following the departure of current boss Holger Seitz.
In addition to overseeing the U23 squad, Dante will also manage Bayern’s youth team in the Youth League. His previous tenure at Bayern from 2012 to 2015 saw him make 133 appearances, during which he scored 5 goals and provided 8 assists. Dante transferred to Wolfsburg in the summer of 2015 for a fee of €4.5 million.
