The Spanish national football team has opted to retain Nico Williams and Yeremy Pino in their roster, despite both players currently dealing with injuries. According to football insider Fabrizio Romano, there is optimism that they could recover in time to participate in the latter stages of the World Cup.

Yeremy Pino has been diagnosed with an acromioclavicular sprain to his left shoulder. The medical team is currently evaluating his recovery timeline, though he will remain a part of the squad during this period.

In the case of Nico Williams, he sustained a muscle injury to his right adductor from a significant challenge. His participation in upcoming matches remains uncertain, but the team is hopeful for his return as the tournament advances.

Spain has also secured a place in the playoffs and is set to face either Austria or Algeria in the round of 16.
