DR Congo fan Michel Nkuka Mboladinga, known as “Lumumba Vea,” has been cleared to rejoin the national team in Mexico for the upcoming World Cup match against Colombia. His return follows the resolution of visa issues that had previously prevented him from traveling.
“Lumumba Vea” missed DR Congo’s opening match, which ended in a 1-1 draw against Portugal, due to health and travel challenges related to Ebola protocols. These complications necessitated a 21-day isolation period, delaying his entry into the United States.
Reports indicate that he will rejoin the DR Congo delegation ahead of their crucial group match against Colombia, scheduled for June 23.
