The Democratic Republic of Congo’s national football team, under the guidance of coach Sébastien Desabre, is set to refine their strategy ahead of a friendly match against Chile as part of their preparations for the 2026 World Cup.
The team has journeyed to Spain after completing their initial training phase in Belgium. While based in Liège, the DR Congo Leopards participated in a friendly match against Denmark, which ended in a 0-0 draw.
The Leopards have settled in Malaga for their training camp, where they are focusing on preparation before their match against Chile on June 9. However, there is some uncertainty regarding whether this friendly will take place in Spain.
As the team gears up for the World Cup, which begins on June 11 across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, they continue to intensify their training efforts.
