Egypt has officially announced its final 26-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with star player Mohamed Salah set to captain the team. The tournament is scheduled to take place from June 11 to July 19, hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
As the Pharaohs prepare for their return to football’s biggest stage, they find themselves placed in Group G. Egypt will kick off its campaign against Belgium on June 15 in Seattle, and will also play against New Zealand and Iran during the group phase.
