Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle is reportedly taking steps to persuade Michael Kayode to switch his international allegiance to Nigeria.
According to reports from ESPN, officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) are working behind the scenes to arrange a face-to-face meeting with the Brentford defender. These planned discussions have the full support of Chelle, who aims to enhance his squad by securing Kayode’s commitment.
Kayode currently represents Italy at the youth level but remains eligible to play for Nigeria due to his heritage. He was born in Borgomanero, Italy, to Nigerian parents, Victoria and Anthony.
