Details: As per Sky Sport Germany, negotiations are in progress, but no agreement has been finalized between Ajax and Barcelona. This situation is complicated by the fact that ter Stegen, who is currently 34 years old, has a contract with the Catalan club that extends until the summer of 2028.
Despite these challenges, Ajax is believed to have two significant advantages in this pursuit. Firstly, ter Stegen has formed a strong personal bond with Ajax head coach Michel. Secondly, the historically positive relationship between Ajax and Barcelona could facilitate smoother discussions.
