Nasredine Nabi, recently appointed head coach of Raja Casablanca, is keen on acquiring Kaizer Chiefs defender Inacio Miguel. Nabi’s interest in Miguel arises after he took the helm of the Moroccan club last week, following the dismissal of former coach Fadlu Davids.
Under Davids, Raja Casablanca struggled to secure a championship title, which ultimately led to his departure. Nabi, who previously coached at Kaizer Chiefs, is now targeting Miguel, who joined the South African club based on Nabi’s recommendation.
Miguel was signed from Angolan giants Petro Luanda, with Nabi expressing strong confidence in the defender’s capabilities. The situation is complicated, as Miguel currently has one year remaining on his contract with Chiefs, meaning Raja will need to negotiate a transfer fee to finalize the deal.
