Femi Azeez has made the decision to represent Nigeria’s national football team, the Super Eagles, despite having the option to play for both England and Spain. The 24-year-old winger currently plays for Millwall FC.

Born in England and raised in Northwood, Azeez is the son of a Nigerian father and a Spanish mother, granting him eligibility for multiple international teams.

Reports from Footmercato.net indicate that the Nigeria Football Federation has already reached out to Azeez and his representatives to begin the formal process of his selection.

Azeez’s case is uncomplicated, as he has not played for either England or Spain at the youth level. This absence allows him to switch his international allegiance without requiring FIFA clearance.
