The Malian Football Federation has reportedly reached an agreement with Congolese manager Florent Ibenge to lead the national team, known as the Eagles.
Mali initiated the process of finding a new head coach by issuing a call for applications and subsequently drawing up a shortlist of candidates.
Florent Ibenge is emerging as the frontrunner on this shortlist, thanks in part to his extensive coaching experience. He has previously won the African Nations Championship and the CAF Confederation Cup.

Ibenge’s track record includes managing teams such as the DR Congo Leopards, AS Vita Club, RS Berkane, and Al Hilal.
