Atalanta and Belgium national team midfielder Charles De Ketelaere may be heading to Bayern Munich as the German club considers its options for the upcoming transfer window.
Details: While Bayern Munich is making strides in negotiations for Newcastle midfielder Anthony Gordon, they are also exploring alternative targets. According to Football Italia, De Ketelaere has emerged as a potential backup if talks with Gordon do not progress successfully.
Bayern has shown admiration for De Ketelaere’s playing style and vision on the field, with a transfer fee around €40 million making him a particularly attractive option. This potential deal highlights the club’s strategic approach in bolstering its squad.
During the 2025/26 season, De Ketelaere made 40 appearances across all competitions, scoring five goals and providing seven assists. He currently has a contract with Atalanta that extends until June 2028.
