Germany will play Switzerland in a friendly match on Friday as both teams prepare for the 2026 World Cup.

Germany is in strong form, having won their last five World Cup qualifiers. They recorded solid victories against Slovakia (6–0), Luxembourg (2–0), and Northern Ireland (1–0), while keeping four clean sheets in their last four competitive matches.

Coach Julian Nagelsmann will be without key players Jamal Musiala, Felix Nmecha, and Aleksandar Pavlovic for this camp. Goalkeeper Jonas Urbig has also withdrawn due to a capsular injury in his right knee, missing both the match against Switzerland and the upcoming game with Ghana.
