Manchester City is reportedly eyeing a summer transfer for Lille’s 21-year-old Spanish forward, Matías Fernández-Pardo. The interest comes as the Citizens look to bolster their squad ahead of the new season.

Respected journalist Nicolò Schira shared on his X social media account that head coach Pep Guardiola has been impressed with Pardo’s performance this season, giving the club the go-ahead to pursue a signing.

Pardo, who stands at 188 centimeters, poses a significant challenge for opposing defenses due to his impressive physique and calm playing style. This season, he has appeared in 40 matches for Lille, netting 8 goals and providing 7 assists.
