The Algerian forward Himad Abdelli has been reinstated to the Marseille first-team squad after being dropped by manager Habib Beye following an altercation. The disagreement between Abdelli and Beye occurred after the team’s 1-1 draw against Nice on April 26.
Following this incident, Abdelli was sidelined and spent a week training separately with a fitness coach. According to a report by L’Equipe, his recent training efforts have contributed to his return to the main squad.
Despite his reinstatement, it remains unclear whether Abdelli will be included in the matchday squad for the remainder of the season. No official decision has been made by the Marseille club regarding his participation in upcoming matches.
