Hamza Abdelkader has achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the youngest player to represent Egypt at a FIFA World Cup, making his debut at the age of 18.
The teenage forward entered the match in the 76th minute of Egypt’s opening Group G encounter at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which ended in a 1-1 draw against Belgium.
Abdelkader recently transferred to FC Barcelona from Al Ahly. His move initially began as a loan, but the Spanish club reportedly activated a €1.5 million buy option, securing him on a permanent basis.
