A significant criminal scandal has surfaced at the England national team’s base, escalating into formal legal proceedings. Two men have been charged in connection with the theft of equipment and personal belongings from the English delegation.

According to a report from a UOL journalist, if convicted, each suspect could face a sentence ranging from 1 to 7 years in prison. The stolen items included highly valued possessions, notably personalized boots belonging to team captain Harry Kane and first-choice goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, which were intended for use during tournament matches.

Local police, in coordination with the World Cup security service, undertook swift action to solve the case amid heightened pressure. Law enforcement authorities have indicated that some of the stolen property has already been recovered and returned to its owners, with representatives of the England squad expressing their gratitude for the police’s efforts.
