Chelsea are continuing to monitor Juventus defender Andrea Cambiaso, with the club’s interest described as exploratory following recent squad changes, according to journalist Gianluigi Longari.
The Blues are said to be assessing options in the transfer market after the departure of Marc Cucurella, with a potential change in management also expected to influence defensive plans for the summer window.
Cambiaso, however, is believed to have other preferences, with Barcelona remaining his first-choice destination. Inter are also tracking the 26-year-old as an alternative option.
The Italian wing-back joined Juventus from Genoa in 2022 for €15.5 million and is under contract until the summer of 2029.
A versatile player capable of operating as a wing-back or in wider roles, Cambiaso made 47 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring three goals and providing five assists.
